The Village Cooperative of Wausau is a retirement community for seniors. Conveniently located near shopping areas and medical clinics, it is south of Merrill Avenue in northwest Wausau near Interstate 39/51. The Village Cooperative is a four story community with underground, heated parking and car wash bay, and two elevators. It was completed in 2008 and includes 72 one or two bedroom homes. Homes range in size from 870 to 1,560 square feet. All are light and open with all standard appliances including a washer and dryer, in-home storage, walk-in closets, private balconies and individually controlled HVAC systems.
This Village Cooperative includes a community room with kitchen, two guest suites, reading areas, outdoor planting areas, wood working shop and fitness room.
